Background and Significance

Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University, as a higher education institution playing a pivotal role in local and societal development, recognizes the imperative of integrating knowledge across diverse disciplines, including the sciences, humanities, and social sciences, in tandem with the application of local wisdom. This integrative approach aims to foster context-based innovation that is well-suited to specific regional settings while effectively addressing global challenges.

In this regard, the University has initiated the organization of an international academic conference entitled "The 8th International Conference on Sciences and Social Sciences 2026: From Local Knowledge to Global Engagement." The conference is intended to serve as a platform for the presentation and dissemination of research, knowledge, and innovation from academics, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners at both national and international levels.

Evaluation Criteria and Process

Editorial Screening

The editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment of submitted papers, including format compliance, accuracy of references in accordance with APA 7th Edition, and plagiarism detection. The similarity index must not exceed 20%.

Peer Review

Papers are evaluated by qualified reviewers based on the following criteria:

Relevance

Alignment between research objectives and the research problem.

Methodology

Appropriateness, accuracy, and rigor of the research design and methods.

Results

Clarity and coherence in the presentation of research findings.

Discussion

Grounded in credible theoretical frameworks and effectively addresses the research objectives.

Ethics (if applicable)

Inclusion of statements regarding research ethics, particularly ethical approval for studies involving human subjects (IRB).

Based on the reviewers' evaluation, papers will receive one of the following decisions:

Accepted

Accepted without revision

Accepted with Revisions

Subject to revisions per reviewers' recommendations
